Originally from Plainfield, NH, Skylar started his internship with SMG in 2015, while earning his B.S. in Conservation Biology from The College of Idaho. While at CofI he was captain of the Freestyle Ski team and earned First Team All American Honors in Freestyle Combined. After nearly a decade of ski instructing Skylar has found a passion for ski mountaineering in the Sawtooth Range. Skylar is working towards his ski guiding license while portering and cooking for hut trips. You can most often find Skylar on his way up to the Williams Peak Hut with a hand saw and an overstuffed pack full of supplies.
