Sawtooth Mountain Guides Office/Headquarters

On Highway 21 in Stanley, turn south on Niece Ave. Go through the 4-way stop at Ace of Diamonds Road and look for our office in the new Stanley Town Square.

Redfish Lake Lodge

From the junction of Highways 75 and 21 in Stanley, drive south on Highway 75 4 miles and turn right on to the marked road for Redfish Lake. Drive 2 miles then take a right turn at the sign for Redfish Lake Lodge. Typically you’ll meet your guide on the front lawn of the Redfish Lake Lodge

Redfish Trailhead

From the junction of Highways 75 and 21 in Stanley, drive south on Highway 75 4 miles and turn right on to the marked road for Redfish Lake. Drive 2 miles then take a right turn into the parking lot right after the sign for Redfish Lake Lodge.

Backwoods Mountain Sports

From Highway 75/Main Street in downtown Ketchum, drive north until the you see the grey, two-story, Backwoods Mountain Sports  building on your left across from Hotel Ketchum. Meet your guide outside the downstairs backdoor. 

Mount Borah Trailhead

The turnoff for the Mount Borah Trailhead is a signed road between mileposts 129 and 130 on US 93, approximately 20 miles northwest of Mackay. Drive 3 miles on the dirt road to reach the Mount Borah Trailhead.

City of Rocks Visitor Center

The City of Rocks Visitor Center is located in Almo. Please consult this map to determine the best directions from your location.

Galena Lodge

Drive north of Ketchum on Highway 75 for approximately 20 miles. Galena Lodge is well signed and on your right.

The meeting location for ski touring on Banner Summit is the parking area at the avalanche closure gate. This can be reached by driving Highway 21 from Boise or Stanley.

Stanley Ranger Station

The meeting and parking location for groups renting the Williams Peak Hut is the Stanley Ranger Station, two miles south of Stanley on Highway 75.

 

 

Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation

Meeting location for Boise based avalanche level 1 courses. It is located on the north side of Boise on your way to Bogus Basin Ski Resort.
