Summer is well under way and so far it’s been a good one. After the heat wave in June produced 95 degree temps in Stanley, since the 4th of July it’s been relatively cool with regular rain showers. Although it’s been a little wetter than normal, it’s been a welcome relief – no fires and an incredible wildflower season. We received a big surprise a few days ago when a cold, wet day produced snow in the mountains! Check out the photo below from Mount Borah.
We’ve been doing a lot of climbing on the Super Slabs, the Elephant’s Perch, and on Trail Creek near Sun Valley. This summer has seen a marked increase in Borah climbs. Our popular Kids Camp just wrapped up last week with great times had by all, and we’ve been taking folks out on a number of great day and multi-day hikes. We look forward to doing more of the same as we roll into August!
Enjoy the photos!
