Upper Meadow Bowl is small hanging cirque to the north of the Williams Peak Hut. It’s reached by what we call a “techy tour” – getting to and from it requires a variety of skills and provides great practice during our Ski Mountaineering Camp. An axe and crampons are typically needed on the approach, and unless it’s a fat year, you’ll want a rope for the exit!
