Dom was raised in Long Beach, CA, and developed his love for the outdoors through Boy Scouts and weekend ski trips to the San Gabriel Mountains. After a guided day with Sawtooth Mountain Guides when he was 15, he was inspired to pursue a career in guiding. He attended Western Colorado University and earned a B.A. in Outdoor Leadership and a B.A. in Environment and Sustainability. While living in Colorado, he spent 6 years on the Western Mountain Rescue Team and served as a Mission Coordinator. Dom lives in Ketchum now, where he also coaches for the Jr Big Mountain Ski Team and writes for Snowbrains.com. He spends his summers guiding wilderness expeditions for Alaska Alpine Adventures. Dom loves sharing the mountains with others and looks forward to taking you on your next adventure!
