Hiking Guide

Amy David

Amy grew up in rural Pinedale, Wyoming where her wild-west passion for outdoor adventure began. She earned a BA in the Psychology of Communication and minor in Outdoor Education and Leadership from Westminster College. As a backpacking guide for Sawtooth Mountain Guides, Amy is passionate about sharing the dramatic beauty of the Sawtooths and surrounding mountain ranges with people from all walks of life. She has guided backpacking trips since 2013 and is the And She’s Dope Too Retreat Director for a women’s collective taking women of all ages and experience levels on week long educational wilderness trips across Idaho, Wyoming and Utah. During the winter, she professionally skis full time from remote backcountry objectives to freeride in front of the camera and is pursuing ski guide certifications.
