Rachel fell in love with the Sawtooths and the Stanley area when she first arrived in the valley over 10 years ago for what was supposed to be a single summer of river guiding. Since that first summer, the Sawtooths have been the place Rachel keeps coming back to for both work and play. As an avid hiker, runner, mountain biker, and skier, the Sawtooths now allow Rachel to find a balance between her career as a paramedic and her passion for the mountains.
