Wilderness retreats for Special Groups are similar in design and format as Executive Retreats, but are often conducted to achieve distinctly unique experiences and outcomes for groups. If your group is a service organization, such as a boy/girl scout troop you are probably going to want an active and exciting day for camaraderie as well as challenge. A campfire might emphasize stories and songs.

We have run a 10-day Retreat which incorporates a myriad of outdoor adventures in the Sawtooth Mountains ranging from ropes courses, peak-climbs, rock climbing, solo camps, and treks while in taking it on day at a time. Mid-way through a shift from mountain wilderness to a Wild and Scenic River on the Middle Fork of the Salmon, surprises everyone with such a unique contrast from the challenges and experiences in the high country, and discovering what it means to go with the flow.
